Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log a diary entry?

Tap the + button in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. Type your entry in plain language — food, drinks, symptoms, bowel movements, stress, or activity. You can write in any language. The AI will parse it into structured events for you to review before saving.

How long does the AI analysis take?

After you save a diary entry, the analysis runs in the background and typically completes within 10–30 seconds. Open the Insights tab to see your updated trigger patterns. If the analysis is still running, wait a moment and pull to refresh.

The Insights page is empty or says "not enough data". Why?

The AI needs at least a few days of logged entries to surface meaningful patterns. Keep logging daily — the more entries you have, the more accurate and detailed your trigger analysis will become.

How do I see what triggers my symptoms?

Open the Insights tab. Once you have enough logged data, the AI will display a holistic analysis of your history, highlighting likely trigger–symptom connections, safe foods, and patterns.

Can I edit or delete a logged entry?

You can delete individual events from the home timeline by swiping left on an event row. To remove an entire day's entries, swipe left on the day. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

How do I cancel my Bowey Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → find Bowey → Cancel Subscription. You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support through the App Store app.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings inside the app and tap "Delete Account". All your data — including diary entries, events, and analysis results — will be permanently and immediately erased. This action cannot be undone.
